Manager of Financial Reporting and Analysis


  • CPA
  • US GAAP Technical Skills
  • 4+ years Accounting Experience
  • Public Accounting Experience a plus
  • SEC Reporting Experience a plus
  • Solid computer skills, specifically having strong Excel skills (Intermediate to Advanced)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment
  • Team player committed to assisting with projects as they arise
  • Prior General Ledger experience
  • Foreign currency experience a plus


  • Ensuring proper revenue recognition on all revenue contracts
  • Ensuring proper GAAP treatment for all fixed assets
  • Preparing/reviewing monthly financial reporting package for distribution to Management, including actual versus budget analysis
  • Financial analysis, including revenue analysis and asset returns
  • Preparing quarterly impairment analysis
  • Preparing reports and schedules included in quarterly Board and Audit Committee presentations
  • Research, draft and prepare supporting documentation for financial disclosures,
  • including SEC disclosures
  • Monitoring of SEC, FASB and other related bodies for changes in accounting and
  • financial reporting requirements
  • Maintaining strong internal controls and SOX compliance
  • Coordinating and reviewing of Canadian subsidiary financial information
  • Assisting with the coordination of the audits by external auditors
  • Other special projects as required
